Welcome
Welcome to
the Christ the Rock website! Through God’s Word, our Baptism and the
Lord’s Supper we are a family in Christ, blessed to be connected to Jesus
As you surf these pages I have two hopes.
Guests - I hope that
this page helps you to connect to Christ the Rock. The pages of this
website are intended to give you a glimpse of the ministries and
opportunities at Christ the Rock. We have provided worship times,
ministry descriptions, some pictures (because they are worth thousands of
words!) a calendar
and directions.
To get a real flavor of and a feel for this body of believers in Christ,
I invite you to do more than just “surf”. Go beyond the
“cyber-experience” and come and worship the Lord with us.
Members - I hope that
you will use these pages to maintain your connection to your church home.
Use the monthly calendar to keep in tune with this month's events.
I hope you
will use this site to help others to connect to Christ the Rock and
through us, to connect to Jesus, our Savior and Lord.
Come home to Christ the Rock
Located at the
northeast corner of Newburg and Mill Roads in Rockford, Illinois,
Christ the Rock's mission is to glorify God and help all of God's People
become active Christians through worship and service. Our
doors are always open to those who seek to grow in their personal relationship
with God through the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our services include
blends of traditional and contemporary songs and worship, as well as a
contemporary service on Sunday with vocals and instrumental accompaniment
by our Praise Team Choir. Our later Sunday service also has a nursery
available for families with smaller children. So if you're seeking a
church home in the Rockford area, please come and worship with us.
